one likes to receive "junk mail". Yet we all like to be informed on important matters in a timely way. We feel your pet's health is one such important matter. By using email, we can easily communicate. By communication, we do mean a two way process. We can easily respond to requests and answer common questions that we receive from you! Our goal is to provide our clients with the latest, most accurate information. Our first client email was an advisory on issues affecting travel. Please consider the following points, and if you would like to enjoy the advantages listed below, provide us with your email address.
- We want to be able to send out pet health reminders (for vaccinations, prescription refills, etc.) in a timely, efficient manner.
- In addition to reminders, we want to be able to notify clients when there is a pet health alert or condition that requires immediate attention. When a newsworthy issue arises, our clients will be the first to know.
- Eventually, we may use email to notify clients of specials discounts, projects, and surveys that we are conducting. For example, we are currently participating in a special offer sponsored by Pfizer, providing 30 tablets of Anipryl to geriatric patients, free of charge, as a "trial dose" to monitor its effectiveness on older pets.
- As we consider new services and products, we would like to survey our clients and get feedback. Email is an ideal method to do this, reducing costs and time needed to get feedback.
- Clients are able to request appointments and prescription refills through our web site, and we handle confirmations through e-mail unless you've specifically requested a phone call confirmation.
In summary, we are striving to communicate quicker and in a manner that more and more clients are familiar with.
Q. Will my email address be sold to outside companies, causing me to receive unsolicited email?
A. No. From time to time we do offer special products and services that may be sponsored by a pharmaceutical company. But we will control how and when email is sent.
Q. If I request to have my email removed, will you honor that?
A. We will honor any request to remove an email. You can call or even email us to let us know.
